Let's hope Mclaren is only sticking around for the rest of the season as well. In fact, the Mariners should just sweep all their trash out the door now. Bavasi, Mclaren, Sexson, Washburn, Vidro, Willie, Cairo. My god, they have a lot of junk sitting around on that roster. Go M's!

hmm....ESPN: Seattle traded Jose Vidro and Richie Sexson for GM Billy Beane, who will serve as GM. An insider on the team was quoted saying " we feel this move will increase our offensive production heavily, and brings us I guy who gets guys on base. Sexson and Vidro did not get guys on base."
