It must be a bit disappointing for you, seeing as how you were looking forward to flying solo a couple of years ago...Bit of a slap in the face for ESPN's number 1 colour commentator wouldn't you say? I mean he's not even a HoFer for cryin' out loud!

    Dear Joe,

    The NFL just announced that they are "funding an institute at the University of Connecticut that will focus on preventing unnecessary deaths among athletes."

    It's interesting that they are only focusing on "unnecessary deaths". Could you please tell me what constitutes a "necessary" death among athletes?
