So...because he plays for the Pats, he's supposed to just automatically support EVERY local team? I've never really understood that line of thinking.
Although, he does seem to be somewhat of a merc, seeing as last we saw, he was wearing a Yanks lid. Could be he has friends on both teams???

He grew up in the San Francisco area. It's perfectly reasonable to believe that he's a Giants fan, seeing as he was a big 49ers fan as well.

That was kind of my point above. What should it matter who Tom Brady is a fan of? Just because he plays for the Pats, he should automatically be an everything Boston fan? He played College and University of Michigan, so shouldn't he be a fan of the Tigers (or Cubs, or White Sox)?
Heck, he was born and raised in San Mateo. It makes more sense for him to be a Giants and a 9'ers fan than anything else.
