This bears out what I've been saying about communication - that the onus is on the recipient. Emails(and posts) are notorious for being misunderstood ...that's why I would like to see more smilies - an iron for sarcasm; a wagging finger for reproof, a shaken fist for a rebuttal, a dropping gauntlet for a challenge, etc

What's the point slagging off a team when you have no valid reasons to? Just shows others what an idiot you are.
Oh darn, Mogul, you had me there for awhile. I'm a Nats fan |looking down at my feet in embarrasment| and have been following this thread for some time trying to figure out why their cheering on the bench got them labelled a "girls softball team" myself, but in my opionion, and my opinion counts for zero, I think your point would've been a little better if in that last sentence you had changed the words "what an idiot" to, I dunno, maybe "how immature" maybe?? Wouldn't want Yankee Hater responding by calling you by your initials, after all.![]()
OK. I get it. Mogul Fanatic is a "Melon Farmer". And that's officially the end of the namecalling.

As the biggest Mets hater, boo hoo. Mets= big payroll no results. Nats= minimum wage and enjoying every win.
That is why they play in Flushing! Whoosh.
Can anyone explain to me WHY the Mets were supposed to be a big deal? Beyond Santana, their starting pitching isn't anything to write home about (well, sure, they'll get their...what...7 starts out of Glass Pedro, too), and the entire bottom half of their batting order isn't exactly imposing.
The fact that they just barely missed last season?
Point taken, though.
