Re: Trapped in the Basement: Post War Expansion Poll

I think Seattle should be taken out of consideration due to pressure towards the NL GMs coming from the stockholders of Boeing.

Please, please, please, do not let your favorite city down! If you don't want to face public ridicule for your selections, you can PM me.

    Los Angeles and Seattle

Travel Cost will be bad either way with two teams on the west coast but Boeing is helping with the war effort and should be reward and Norfolk is too close to couple teams and will probably shrink after the war.

And a stadium flying via propellors is more steampunk then anime. In anime it would probably be flying via jets/rockets or some other futuristic means.

I vote for Dallas and Baltimore

relocation + expansion to the west coast with maybe 2 teams moving and 2 more expansion teams to set up a division out there would be the best bet i would think

I'm starting to think there's something to be said for this move to the south/southwest. NO and DAL are close - but not too close. They can provide a natural rivalry for each other without draining each other dry. We're really several years early for a west coast expansion anyway.

    Unvote SEA/LA

I'm going to have to go with Dallas and New Orleans at this point. Travel costs would be outrageous for a west coast team, and Nawlins and Dallas are close enough for them to still be considered a days bus ride away.
