I disagree, Boras is just getting what the market will bear. The owners have to agree to pay his players what they are paying them, it's not as though Scott Boras is holding a gun to their heads. He may be an egotistical a-hole, but he's hardly doing anything wrong.

Boras is NOT doing anything wrong. If Boras wasn't getting his clients the money, it'd just be going into the pockets of the owners. I've said this before and I can't say it enough. Contracts rising is NOT a bad thing. The reason contracts rise is because we, the fans, continue to pay the price for tickets, merchandise, food, etc. With revenues increasing, the owners have more money. When the owners have more money, it is only FAIR that the players demand more as well, and that's all Scott Boras is doing.
As for "taking heroes from teams", please. That's not Boras's fault. Contrary to popular belief, the player employs the agent, not the other way around. The player has to give his consent to do anything. Just look at the A-Rod fiasco. Those "heroes" choose to leave their teams.

Ya he has done his job extraordinarily well, but that does not keep him from being a jerk. Ty Cobb was an amazing player, and many still called him a jerk.

That's fine, I don't necessarily disagree with that. Using player's salaries to justify that he is a "jerk" isn't a good reason, though.

He takes to much control over his players he represents, and does not allow them to make choices in some matters. Proof of this is how several players over the off-season stopped using him as their agent. So while he gets the players money, he does not have their best interests at heart. I am not denying he is successfull, but i do not like the ways he handles players, treating them like thy have no say in there contracts.

Except, as I said, they do have a say - because they employ him. Without the player's actual consent, he can't do anything. He does not make decisions. The player does.
