I really do not care if a player juiced or not in the past. MLB did not test for it so they weren't breaking any MLB rules regardless if they were breaking the law. I don't think its right but still you can't blame them for doing it.

On the Canseco being smart issue. I believe that if you mean leadership role as in managers, owners, etc. that no it wouldn't make more sense to talk about them if he wants to attack the MLB. Mostly because the casual fan or regular joe are most likley not going to know the names of these people. The players are the ones being marketed to the fans not the owners or managers.

Uh, yah you can blame them for it. Besides cheating, and setting a bad example, it was illegal. MLB rules are not greater than federal law which is what your statement seems to imply.

As people, sure you can blame them for it. As baseball players... they didn't do anything wrong at the time. The MLB rules not being greater than Federal law is the point.

I wanted a choice for "I don't care, I never cared" - about steriods in baseball, the olympics, bike racing, football. Steriods/no steriods - as long as the playing field is even, who cares?

Well, obviously some people care, but I don't.

David Letterman had Canseco on tonight....his (David Lettermans) take on it was...in the first book he named half of baseball players as being juiced and lo and behold he was right....in his new book vindicated he names the other half!
