Great thread...I'll throw one out there, it's one of my favorite "sad" stories in baseball.
#9 I am a pitcher who has a brother in the hall of fame. While I am credited with playing in one major league game, I was never actually involved in a single play. Sadly, during my warm up tosses, I hurt myself and never played in the major leagues again.
#11. I played only one game in my career. I got three ABs and made 6 outs.
I remember that game. I was really pissed after the triple play. Espicailly because it was against the Rangers when they had A-Rod.
