Heres another website I found, gives you team by team history, and a little section of players not to be forgotten, including those that played for defunct teams like the Philadelphia/Kansas City Athletics, and the St Louis Browns.

Many thanks to Petrel, CatKnight, and PotatoOfCouch for providing examples of how it should be done. You may see that my dynasty adopts some of their ideas, and in this case, the imitation is indeed sincere flattery.

I know that I just began my dynasty, but I think that I have something important to add here: Be creative. I have a lot of ideas that WILL happen in mine within the next 2-3 years. I'm really looking forward to adding that special dimension of suprise and creativity to my dynasty. Kind of like a soap opera, you know? You might be able to guess what's coming next, but it seldom works out the way you think it will, right? I'm going to try to incorporate this element of "surprise," "shock," whatever you want to call it.

    Just my two cents.

Good advice, soxfan. Surprises, or drama, is a great tool to add if and when you can. There's nothing like a good cliffhanger to get your readers' attention!

shop.mlb.com lets you get a mockup of what a player's jersey might look like, for example- if in your Blue Jays dynasty you have a player named, say, Clay Dreslough- you could

    1) go to shop.mlb.com
    2) Click on "Jerseys'
    3) Go to Blue Jays
    4) Personalize a jersey
    5) Right click on the mockup of the jersey, click "Properties", copy URL of jersey pic
    6) Paste the URL in your post in between IMG tags, and you get a finished product that looks like this:

Tools--Output stats. Then follow the instructions. It's pretty straightforward once you get into that window.

That could be helpful, if, say, you sign a new free agent or land a big player in a trade, or something.

Did you seriously just quote your own post and say how good it was?

Wow, after reading this, I see why my dynasty sucks...
I'm going to be playing with some teams, and make up my own characters, and create a dynsty hopefully tomorrow. Just reading this has already helped me out. Thanks.
