of course , if several umpires were to suddenly be exposed as members of any such radical group, or of being involved in anything society would consider heinous , there would be an outcry that the "national institution of baseball" wasnt doing enough background checks.

She obviously took it as a joke, and they both laughed at it.Rohan said she told Christopher that Kulpa lived in a manner similar to that of his neighbors.

Then it's being reported as if the MLB investigators were explicitly looking for Klan connections.
