BP Reader's Predicted 2007 Much Better Than PECOTA/ESPN

    http://www.baseballprospectus.com/ar...articleid=6987

There's a graph at the bottom of the article showing how well the BP voters predicted the season as compared to BP's projection system, PECOTA, and ESPN's "Experts."

I think it says a lot when the public can predict the standings with more accuracy than supposed "experts."

    What?

Since when does subscribing to Baseball Prospectus automatically mean that you hate mainstream sportswriters and take every pain to be more educated than the mainstream so that you can "own" them?

Being just a little over-stereotypical there, are we?

Furthermore, taking part in the poll does NOT require a subscription. Okay, it requires you to sign up to the site...but you can do that by getting a free account. So, the poll IS open to the general public.
