Well we might just use the thing on mogul.

Then we can't pick any teams that have the same players.

Then we could have a draft to make sure no two people would choose the same person. But we would need to know if we could choose the same player but in different years (ex. taking the 1911 Cobb and the 1912 Cobb). And once a player is taken, then no one else can take the same player even though its from a different year. Also can you put guys out of position in whatifsports? Could I have a outfield of Williams, Mays and Mantle?

good questions if we do it on mogul we can run it longer term prob break it down more like a league format if we used mogul, this idea sounds cool too it rellay dosn't matter to me

We could have a draft, and if you draft a player, you get to use one season of that player on your team, and no one else can have him on theirs.

Yes, before you play a game, you can set the lineups and change positions and stuff. You do need to have at least one person at every position when you originally draft your team though.

You also would get to pick a stadium, which adds a cool element (stadiums are as they are in real life, so Coors/Mile High is a hitters haven, Petco a pitchers paradise, etc) and a team name.

Agreed. We can schedule it for like a week from now so we have time to get 32 signups, and then we do the draft, everyone makes their teams, and I'll run a tournament.
