OK Folks, Whose going to play in the BCS games? With the College Football season so topsy-turvy (Playoffs anyone..... ), There are many teams with good arguments to go to the BCS games, and the National Championship game. What are the mogul forum reader's opinions? Not that anyone is opinionated....
I'll start it off -

Orange Bowl - Va. Tech vs. West Va. - Natural rivalary, should be big draw; Tech's gotta go due to ACC tie-in
Rose - USC vs. Missouri - USC's gotta go due to PAC tie-in; why not Missouri?
Fiesta - Oklahoma vs Hawaii - Oklahoma's gotta go due to Big 12 tie-in; Hawaii's gotta go somewhere
Sugar - Georgia vs. Kansas - Sugar has SEC tie-in, but since I'm picking LSU for title game, Georgia is next highest ranked SEC team, so why not. Kansas - Big 12 is no stranger to Sugar Bowl, and should draw big crowd

National Championship Game - Ohio St vs. LSU - I think they will be the 1-2 in BCS - Do I think they are the best teams - not really.

I all of the above mentioned teams have legitimate arguments to play in the national championship - I just think that the BCS will rank Ohio St & LSU as 1-2.

It will be interesting to see later on tonight how close we were to picking the bowl games.....

Will Oklahoma lose to another unbeaten like last year?

I think Hawaii deserves a spot for this reason, supposedly the regular season acts as a playoff, well they went undefeated, give them a chance.

Well, here's what it should be:

Rose: #7 USC (10-2 Pac-10 Champions) VS #12 Illinois (9-3)
Fiesta: #4 Oklahoma (11-2 Big 12 Champions) VS #8 Kansas (11-1)
Orange: #6 Virginia Tech (11-2 ACC Champions) VS #10 West Virginia (10-2)
Sugar: #3 LSU (11-2 SEC Champions) VS #5 Georgia (10-2)
National Championship: #1 Hawaii (12-0 WAC Champions) VS #2 Ohio State (11-1 Big 10 Champions)

Hawaii is undefeated and deserves to be #1. There is no legitimate argument for anybody else being #1. Ohio State is the only 1-loss conference champ, so they belong at #2. The Rose Bowl would get a Big 10 VS Pac-10 matchup, the Fiesta Bowl would host a matchup between Oklahoma and Kansas to see who is really the best in the Big 12, the Sugar Bowl would match up LSU and Georgia in the real SEC Championship game, and the Orange Bowl would match up the ACC champion against the Big East Champion.

However, it is more likely that LSU will steal Hawaii's spot in the national title game because the voters are a bunch of LSU fans (why else were the overrated Tigers getting first place votes right after they lost to Kentucky and Ohio State, Kansas, Hawaii, Arizona State, and Boston College were still unbeaten?).

While I see the logic, LLP, I don't think Illinois deserves an at-large bid. Not that there are really any teams with a compelling argument for it.

Just 1 minor question. Ku didn't win their sub-divison, or conferewnce, and LOST TO MISSOURI, yet they get the At-large bid and NOT MISSOURI?

That's the quarky thing about College Football. Missouri's lost to Oklahoma hurt them a lot. They would have been better off losing a tight game to Kansas and then watch Kansas get blown out by Oklahoma.

College Football needs a tleast an eight team playoff system. You can still have big time bowl game names, just take 8 conference winners.
