Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are .
Never missed a day of work! Pretty good.
I used to watch the Superstars. Anybody remember the celebrity offshoot of that, Battle of the Network Stars? Boy, that was 70's-era cheesy, cornball TV at its best. And we loved it, back then anyway.

I AM DA MAN
BO Jackson was the the first one to come to my mind. 2 sport star in this day in age is pretty hard to do. Not even the Great Michael Jordan could do it![]()
I am very surprised I dont see Deon Sanders on this poll. Also another two sport star.
And why the %$#@ is Minnesota Fats on that list?![]()
Eric Lindros and Danny Ainge, Bo, Deion, John Elway was almost a Yankee, well, technically he was for a short time, Dave Winfield was drafted by teams in three pro sports Football, Basketball and Baseball, Brian Jordan, Tom Glavine was also a draft choice of the L.A. Kings.
Hm. I'll get in line for Cal Ripken. Or Brooks Robinson....22 years with one team is still the record in baseball isn't it?

Three people: 1. Roberto Clemente: Bob could do it all, hit for average, hit for power, run, field and throw. 2. Ichiro: With the swing he has, to be that good you HAVE to be athletic. 3. Mike ****ing Tyson: "I'm gonna eat yo' kids!"
LOL,so did I,actually I LOVED it as they all tried to win - I would love to see it revived with the winner being sponsored by a separate Charity it would be great to see a LeBron v Brady v Crosby v Tyson Gay v Mayweather v Kaka (best in Soccer at the moment) v Phelps v Woods v Chabal (best in Rugby) v Hatton v Evans (best in cycling) round robin event.....
even a Seniors' type would be cool - Schumacher v Jordan v Gretzky v Lemieux v Zidane v Lennox Lennis etc etc.....![]()
This guy is pretty special - Reinhold Messner - no one has even come close to what he has done & at 60 walked solo the 2000 km of the "Gobi Desert" just to see if was possible!
