I wish A-Rod all the best as he destroys another team with his greed!
How exactly did he destroy the Yankees with his greed?
That's just sour grapes from a fan...

Yes it is....very sour!
That's certainly true. The only problem is, are there 2-3 real starting pitchers on the market this year? Who's left?the money could be used on 2 or 3 real starting pitchers.

Carlos Silva and Kyle Lohse!
With this market, spending the money that could be used on Alex Rodriguez on pitchers is not more beneficial. If there was a top of the line starter available, it's a different story.
1) Colon is 34, has been hurt for 2 years, and (very likely) isn't the same pitcher that he was between 2002-2005.
2) more importantly, the Angels are going to resign him. I think.

The Yanks can sell you Pavano real cheap!
Check out what Dave Cameron has to say about him:

Also, Colon has been extremely unlucky. Look at his LD/GB/FB% over the last three seasons:
LD% GB % FB%
2005 Angels 19.3 % 41.2 % 39.5 %
2006 Angels 22.4 % 40.8 % 36.8 %
2007 Angels 18.5 % 41.7 % 39.9 %
