At one time in IL30 (BMO league) There were 5-6 real MLB scouts playing BMO.

One of them won 30 straight pennants with the whitesox...what a run.

Yeah, this award was a joke. Although I have no problem with A-Rod winning it. He had a homer in the Division Series. Jeter was the one who grounded into that killer double play in the last game, but no one says anything about Mr. Perfect.

Howard should not have been up there, sure he had his moments this season, but he was 40 times worse than last year. They should have had Rollins on there instead of Howard, considering what he did this season.

Howard actually hit better in "clutch" situations this year, than he did last year.

    2006:
    RISP - .256/.426/.518
    2 outs, RISP - .247/.473/.481

    2007:
    RISP - .282/.456/.653
    2 outs, RISP - .377/.568/.922 (!!!)

The coolest stat I saw about A-Rod was that he hit 22 home runs that either tied the game or put the Yankees ahead. What a choker.

Wait. Why censor us so we can't discuss intangibles and clutch? That doesn't make any sense.
Water brings life to all, or can end it on a whim.

I am not censoring anything, just saying this stuff will lead people to argue instead of debate. Watery knock it off.

Most clutch player? Willie Bloomquist, he leads any team he's on to victory with his scrappiness, grit, hustle, and overall skills!

If A-Rod is so clutch, why was his team eating nachos and drinking beer during the World Series instead of spraying champagne?

A-Rod's Ferrari has a clutch. I think that's where the confusion comes from. He HAS a clutch.
