    Question Regarding Player Editing

I simmed through 2007 and planned to go back and edit over the 2007 simmed stats with the actual 2007 stats. The problem is when I set the player editor to "this season" at the end of 2007 the numbers I edit in never seem to be recorded on the player page.

Anyone know how I can do this and have the numbers change properly?

Firstly he did NOT lose his job as it was he who turned down the offer.

Secondly, maybe he used to much BM predicted results/sims during the playoffs....

There's no way to edit the player's year-by-year stats in his scouting report.

This is a feature I have requested since I joined the boards. Year by Year stat input.

Just edit the Lahman files. It's easier that way anyway.

Joe should edit the results of the last 6 World Series.

And I say he DID lose his job. I think the Yankees expected him to refuse the "job offer". They dont want him back, and attempted to avoid public scorn by making what appears, to most people, to be a reasonable offer. I could be wrong, but thats what I think. Would anyone say he didnt lose his job if the Yankees offer was, say $20,000 a year?

Clearly trying to avoid public scorn is not working as they have received a ton of heat for letting him get away. Plus I don't think they would have let on their best manager since Casey Stengel like that, if they had no intentions of keeping him they would have let him go honorably.

Since when do the New York Yankees do anything "honorably"? Maybe they did something honorably during the Steinbrenner regime....guessed I missed it.

By winning at all cost. That is pretty honorable.
