They are going to get splattered in the World Series.
I think that the longer the ALCS goes on the greater the chance the Rockies will come out flatter than a pancake in the WS.
Thoughts?

Not upset at all that the D-Backs lost, are we? or is it the Phillies?

21 out of 22. Want to make that bet?
Are you kidding? I hate the Phillies. I danced a jig when they lost.
I am mostly referring to the downtime. They are going to have plenty of time to sit there and listen to their own hype while they cool down. I just do not see them coming out in the series and playing well enough to beat the Indians or the Sox.
Maybe. I've seen these things go either way, in the past. Tough to call without knowing who their going to play, but I think both the Indians or the Red Sox can beat them. You might be right.

Same thing that happened in 2001. THe Seattle Mariners had some downtime after a week of not playing because of 9/11, they were never the same team afterwards.
I'm bitter at the Sox and really upset with the Indians....go Rockies!!!!!!
I agree, if I were as hot as the Rockies I'd want to go play again TONIGHT. They have to cool off sooner or later, and sitting around for a week might just be the thing to do it.
Or not. We'll know in a couple weeks whether it helped or hurt.
Barely, I was 3.But I'm not insulting them.
Agreed...Kinda a nice story to have the Rockies make it this far but I dont think they really belong in the WS. I say its finally time for the Indians to win again...but its interesting to watch a 7-0 ball game suddenly turn to 7-3 with back to back to back HR's. Cant count out the Bo-Sox yet.
