    Not good for the PBP images but......

    Here's some of the unusables I've found in my searches for ballpark images.

    I have used images based off those, mainly because there's virtually nothing else available.

    Home plate doesn't have to be on the bottom but it helps.

    I just ordered three books on the historical ballparks off of Amazon. (with pictures) I got a sickness......

    I try not to be, but I get obsessive on these things. For my sets I want both foul poles (or very, very close to that) and a home plate, and in the correct positions.

    a skilled photo shopper probably could rotate the first pic to the correct position for you Robin...

    I thought about trying it myself. There's a lot of work on that one though. I'm hoping instead that there's a good shot in one of the three books I ordered. Lazy.

    Great photos. I wonder what that structure is in the Forbes Field photo? It looks like they took some armory and coverted it into a ballpark.

    Also, the Forbes Field I recall had a city park beyond the outfield fence that also had some baseball fields. This photo looks like there are some large buildings behind the outfield fence. Perhaps those building burned down or were torn down or perhaps it is an optical illusion and the buildings are futher away than they appear.
