Great photos. I wonder what that structure is in the Forbes Field photo? It looks like they took some armory and coverted it into a ballpark.
Also, the Forbes Field I recall had a city park beyond the outfield fence that also had some baseball fields. This photo looks like there are some large buildings behind the outfield fence. Perhaps those building burned down or were torn down or perhaps it is an optical illusion and the buildings are futher away than they appear.
