I just ordered three books on the historical ballparks off of Amazon. (with pictures) I got a sickness......
I try not to be, but I get obsessive on these things.For my sets I want both foul poles (or very, very close to that) and a home plate, and in the correct positions.

Great photos. I wonder what that structure is in the Forbes Field photo? It looks like they took some armory and coverted it into a ballpark.
Also, the Forbes Field I recall had a city park beyond the outfield fence that also had some baseball fields. This photo looks like there are some large buildings behind the outfield fence. Perhaps those building burned down or were torn down or perhaps it is an optical illusion and the buildings are futher away than they appear.
