Several of us have reported bugs with the game crashing when trying to do a trade after the amature draft starts and it seems to have fallen on deaf ears, I know he had some health issues and I can understand to a certain point but being ignored is getting kind of irrating and I spent good money for both football and baseball games...please can somebody address the issue of the crash...using version 5.160

It's not ignored, it's just (obviously) not a priority now since it's the beginning of the baseball season.

yeah but this is a major bug that makes the game almost unplayable and isn't fair to not fix it just because its baseball season, I would think figuring out why the game crashes should be a priority unless he doesn't care if we decide to buy the next version of the game or not. it doesn't matter what season it is and its not "obvious" to us people that spent hard earned money on this game and can't play it the way it was meant to be played. Some things can be overlooked but when you can't make a trade after the amature draft thats a major bug regardless of what season it is...Originally Posted by ohms_law

Yeah this really sucks we have to suffer just because its baseball season, I can understand overlooking a minor bug but this one is a major bug and I haven't played it since it kept crashing over a month ago when I bought it..

Oh, I do. It's tough though, being in my position. I sort of do speak for SM, but I'm not an employee. It's not as though I clear my statements with Clay, Dee, or Ian before posting or anything. I tend to be very sympathetic to Clay and Ian as well though, since it really is just the two of them. They hire artists and some outside contractors occasionally, but that's hardly a real solution.
The fact is, there's just too much work to be done (on three separate code bases) for the two of them to realistically be able to keep up with everything all at once. Sports Mogul being a small business as it is we gain the general responsiveness from the developers, but we loose the resources (mostly time) that a larger organization could bring to bear. Some of the guys in the BMO forums (and at least one person here) say that I'm just making excuses, but the above isn't really an excuse it's just reality. There are only so many hours in a day...

I would pay $50 for abug free version! BTW - not being a priority is the same as being ignored.

At least here you get some kind of response and fix eventually, try getting answers and fixes from EA.

are you sure about that, we have been talking about this crash bug during the draft for about 3 months now and nothing has been done about it...

Let me say this. EA sports may have bugs but nothing of this magnitude. Regardless of what clay says this game is unplayable due to the numerous bugs. Your only paying $20 But remeber in a EA sports game you can actually play the game. EA sports has graphics etc. Where as Football mogul is TEXT based sim. Big difference. I would rather pay $40 and get a decent game than pay $20 and get this piece of **** game.
