I Miss Minor-League Contracts

We kinda got off the original post here. Minor League Contracts are necessary, in my opinion, in signing FA. Often I might trade a minor league prospect and would like to fill that hole with a FA, but won't because I must pay him the ML minimum. I realize, of course, that BBM fills minor league rosters with fictional players that don't show up on the list, so I probably shouldn't concern myself with minor league holes, should I?

Yea, but those players also have no shot at all of becoming good players. Regular players always have a chance of becoming better players, which is why I used to sign one or two of them every couple of years.
