    Around the MLB:

The most amazing thing about Dock Ellis' season thusfar, is that through 230 IP, he has allowed just 7 HR's, or one ever 33 innings or so.

It was an eventful week for Bobby Allison of the Oakland A's as he scored his 1000th career run and hit his 300th career HR, a grand slam off the Brewers Pete Hamm in a 12-1 Oakland win.

Up next for Boston is 3 days off followed by three games in Washington against the Senators and then 3 games in the Bronx against the Yankees!
