    Gap Between Rich and Poor

Let's hope this thread doesn't turn political and end up in Ejections.

This is actually related to an article I read in the Economist that was partly about sports, so there's a related poll:

The disparity sports wise can be seen in ticket pricing(no poor income FAMILY(ie mom+ dad+ kids) can afford to go & see on a general basis a Pro-sport team the cost is too prohibitive)) ... will avoid the politics

why would it, it's you board. Anyway yeah I agree. The top 10 % of American make more than the other 90% combined. It's out of whack.

agreed, except I think that that put me in the "somewhat agree" category.
different way of looking at it, I guess.

yea, it is a rather fine distinction. i'd say that we're in the same place, just with slightly different outlooks. glass half empty/half full sort of thing.

The difference between a good team in Baseball and a bad team, is very little....

What I mean, in reallife you never ever see teams that dominate like in Baseball Mogul....you just need a brain in order to compete. Look at KC, I expect that KC will compete in 4 years top, they now have a GM that knows a few things

It's an overly broad statement, with no benchmarks or real basis for comparison. I'm not going to touch it.
