Just heard an unconfirmed report that the A's have let manager Ken Macha go. Kind of surprising, at least to me.

yea, its been confirmed all over the place. im not really sure this is a good call. i mean, who else are they going to get thats better for the situation?

seems the rift between Beane & Macha (developed last year) never healed - seems that Beane wants one his "own" to be manager ..
