    Re: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Ok thanks, I see that Clay is working to get that done. One more quick question, how does one know if a game to be played is a day or night game?

    Hi Gents,

Please help me to edit a player's ratings, such as "Arm", or "Range".

    Thanks,

A tag is just a descriptor that you can add on threads, and then search for all threads with that tag. You should see an edit tag area at the bottom of threads. I'm not sure if you can onlyadd tags to your threads or not,t hough.

Bosox, if you're playing in the BM08 version, first go to the "Options" sub-menu
(of the "League" menu), and ensure that the "View as HTML" box is blank.

After, copying your boxscore from the Calendar, when pasting it into a forum,
first click "Post Reply" when a box, identical to the one in which I now type, with a string of symbols(as above), will appear.

Click on the "Pound" (#) symbol -3rd from the right, and you will see the following appear in the top LH corner of the post Make sure that your cursor is blinking between those bracketed words:-

    Like so... "Code" cursor "Code"

Then paste in your boxscore, submit reply, and all should look lovely...

    Hope this helps.

Click on League/Options, then tick the "Commissioner" box (top rh corner of screen).

Returning to your player's "Scouting Report" you'll now find that the box that read "negotiate" (center of bottom bar), now reads "Edit Player"

Click on this box, and the editing screen appears.

In the top RH corner, you'll see his fielding stats...to improve his range, increase the number of "Put Outs" shown:

to increase his arm strength and accuracy, increase the number of "Assists"

In the case of an outfielder, you won't need to show too many "Assists", to give him an arm of laserlike strength and accuracy - I never go beyond ten, per 162 games, myself - but with an infielder, of course, you can show many more.

If you want realism, I suggest that you swot up the fielding stats ("U.S.A. Today" online) of RL players whose athleticism you admire, and copy them into your edited player.

    Hope this helps.

Re: READ FIRST: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How would I come about getting certain player's pictures on here? Like, since none of the old player's pictures show up, would it be possible for me to search, save, and upload them on BBM2k8? Or is there another way to do this, or simply no way at all?

    All thanks in advance.
