I believe that the Twins are locked into paying Rick Reed some big money .... this acquisition was a strange one because they opened up the purse strings a little too far ..... he is making like $6,000,000 + for like two years ..... he is a decent pitcher but could explode in their faces and be a real bust. He is also quite old .... I believe he is like 36 yrs. old ..... I think the Twins went too far in getting some pitching help but at least they attempted to win when they had the chance. I wonder if they will keep him if they don't make the playoffs ???
I was curious .... when was the last time the Twins posted a winning record ??? I can't even remember when ...... was it when they last won the World Series or what ??
My favourite Twin ever was Burt Blyleven ...... he was awesome and could rack up K's ..... always important to me ..... every pitcher I love racks up the big strikeout totals ...

Bud Selig believes that eliminating the Twins will help Baseball I believe Baseball has worse problems than the Minnesota Twins.
