His great work ethic!?! He is the anti christ when it comes to work ethic. Trust me I hate the Yankees and hate giving any of their players props but u want work ethic u go and watch Jeter's work ethic, go to houstin and check out the Rockets work ethic, go to St Louis and Check out Pujols work ethic. Griffey in his hayday even. That is work ethic; trying your hardest and trying to better yourself NATURLY. Just when baseball had rightened itself after the strike in '94 Sosa, Griffey, and McGuire had us all on the edge of out seats glued to their every at bat. Then we find out that 2 of the 3 were cheaters. 3 years later the man everyone hates goes and breaks the record again. Every single player should be tested every month. MLB had money up the yingyang and refuses to fix itself. The NFL had a steriod problem and said "We have to rectify the situation." and they did. Unfortunatly, what this sport needs is a lockout by the owners.

All these overpaid pansies who complain about evey little thing drive me wild. I love nothing more in life than baseball. I'll watch it ever moment I can, every day. You can all say i need a life but I don't care. Sports are one of those things that are supposed to take u away from the real world. It is 1 of the things that got this country through the depression in the early '30's. And now it is being drawn through the mud by these self indulgent wenies, who every year cry about how its not fair and they need more money. I would happily play on any team, even the royals or tampa bay and make 50,000 a year, Because in the end I could say to mk kids that I played professional baseball. But now it isn't a sport, its a buisness.

I hope tomorrw Bonds wakes up and cant get out of bed because he has distroyed his knees just like he has helped distroy baseball. Im not saying he is the only 1 by any means of the imagination, but he is a big culprit. Giambi made the same mistake but at least he admited it like a man and took his lumps as he deserved, And personaly no matter what he does for the rest of his career, say hit 500 HR or break some record, he should be banned too from the HOF. If Pete Rose can be banned from the HOF for something he didn't even do until after he retired as a player, than y cant Bonds, Sheffield, Giambi, Sosa, Mcguire, and any, and all others be banned?

Now that I rambled and put u all to sleep, im gonna go do the same myself.

This post is either an attempt at baiting others or a piece of sarcasm right? Although it would take nerves of steel to repeatedly inject yourself with chemicals that distort your features and ruin your credibility, reputation, and possibly organs while leading you to a premature death but not before leaving you in excruciating pain for years after you've destroyed joints and tendons that may have to be patched together (possibly with cadaver donantions) by doctors in multiple surgeries and endless rehabilitation therapy. But who am I to judge?

I'm betting on him going somewhere in the AL and playing DH. There's going to be a free agency race for him from AL teams, simply because of his "popularity". He brings people to the park, period.

and you all know that he'll be willing to play another season and get paid, despite what he's said.

Of course, he's aparently got another year on his contract with SF (right? 5-years, starting in 2002?) so who knows. they didn't deal him...
