Bard looked so lost back there and it aint really his fault.
While the Red Sox have made some pretty good deals, they have also made some pretty bad ones too.
I feel bad for Bard. But it's good to have Dougie back. Despite the World Championship, I'm not a huge fan of The Theo Era. We shouldn't have let Pedro or Bronson go, and I wasn't even a fan of the Renteria signing. We would have a much better shot and finally winning the division this year and going far in the post-season if we hadn't made some of the bad decisions of the last 18 months.

Agreed. Theo has generally been average. I think that the biggest difference is in how John Henry's ownership group deals with people and runs the organization. Theo is good but he's been far overrated in my opinion. The Renteria deal was a big mistake on both ends. They paid him a ton to come here over just keeping Cabrera, then had to pay him a ton to leave.
