No but if you want a second copy for personal use, Clay permits that.Originally Posted by waltwa

I think some basic terminology needs to be explained here. You only need to download the game once. Clay does not license the game through a server or through serial number so you can load it on other machines you may have (I keep it on my portable USB drive for any type of emergency). If I travel I load it onto my laptop, no better game to kill time while waiting. In short, you and only you can use the game as much as you want. Do not throw the game onto P2P for the whole world, as that would be counterintuitive to what Clay is trying to do.
I orignally found 2002 on P2P. So I naturally downloaded it and gave it a shot. Loved it so much I have baught every copy since and am happy to do so.![]()
For every one of you theres like 10 others who won't buy. SadlyOriginally Posted by QHowes
You are so right on that one. I thnk its great to support them. I know how hard it can be to stare at 100000000's of line of code when you are trying to write a program like this. I give everyone involved credit. Not to mention $19.95 is certainly not highway robery eitherIts a very reasonable proce and I play the BBMO games more often than I play anything else.
my question really was - can i dl 2 copies - 1 for pc and 1 for laptop for 19.95
Not for 19.95, however, you can download the copy on to your PC, and then say, burn the setup file on to a cd, and install it on your laptop.Originally Posted by waltwa
If it makes you feel more comfortable you can download the thing over and over and over. But why would you?Originally Posted by waltwa
it is reallyan innocent question. most game companies allow you 2 dl's per reg number. i have 2 computers and i want the game on both. i have no problem paying 39 for the 2-i just don't want to do it if it's not necessary.
Read my post above.
Actually, HoustonGM isn't entirely correct. We don't use any sort of e-Licensing or download limits. Therefore:Originally Posted by HoustonGM
1) You can download the game to your PC and your laptop from the same link.
2) If you lose your connection while downloading, you can just click the same link and start over.
3) If you buy a new computer, you can download the game again.
We do make the download links inactive after a reasonable period of time. We also check how many times they are used so we can tell if you send the link to all your friends.
If you ever need to re-install the game and you've lost the download link (or you've lost the confirmation e-mail) you can send us an e-mail with your order number and we'll send you a new link. If you don't have your order number, we can find your order if you give us your e-mail address and/or the full name you used.
The downside of our policy is that some people pirate our game. (Although even games with expensive anti-piracy systems usually end up cracked within a day or two or release).
The upside is, we don't piss off our paying customers by making them jump through hoops just to install our game.
To be extra clear, you have our full permission to install the game on all of your computers. This means your home PC, your work PC and the old laptop you use when you travel. If you've read this far, you are smart enough to know when you are stealing software. We don't want to do anything that prevents you from enjoying the game that you paid for.

One of the things that really killed OOTP for me was all of the bull#*%$ I had to go through just to install the da*ned thing only to find out that if I needed to re-install it I had to get ahold of OOTP and ask permission to do it. I appreciate that we don't need to do all of that for BBM. The only thing I give away is last years version when I buy the new one. I hope to get new people interested by doing so.
