Try 15.01 or even re-installing the game. I've had this happen myself, but a re-install fixed the issue.

This feature does work in 2017. I simulated 5 years into the future and there were only 5 players with 3 years of length to they're contract. The rest were 1 or 2.

I see what's happening, it's whenever the normal starter is flipped to the bench prior to the game. We'll take a look into this.

What version are you running? The scouting bug (when switching scales) should be fixed in 20.02.
