I noticed the last patch caused the game to crash too, so I went back and redownloaded the previous one (8.36??) but I noticed players, really good players, being released midseason. Great for me when one of mine gets injured midyear, but not realistic. I too noticed its become a lot slower, but I can't recall the last version where this didn't occur. If anyone knows please tell me what and where to find it. Much appreciated.

yeah where can we find a list of all of the patches. right now i can only download 8.38 and that's about it. is there a location that has all of the patches available?
You can get a list of unofficial patches going back to 8.30 by searching the thread titles for "patch".
I just click on "Search" at the top and search for "8.31" or "8.35"
I'm using 8.24. It has SO much faster simulation speed.
I'm sticking with 8.34 until a patch that doesn't have the CPU going insane with releasing players comes out.
Im still using 8.24 and dont have to many problems. The sim speed is super fast and the only glaring problem I seem to find is players having -1 games and so on in there high school college or playoff stats.
I haven't played seriously in a few months, since 8.24 . But given how many bugs are in it, in retrospect, I could never go back. BM will just continue to gather dust until the outstanding issues are addressed.
8.24 is the best patch for simulation and it seems very unlikely that Clay will follow thru with his plans to make a final patch.....it is mid august.
will the final patch have the release problem solved?
Sure, perhaps the 2009 final one.
I've lost hope in the ability of Sportsmogul to produce a relatively bug-free product.
