The Brooks Kieschnick Trick
Anyone else aware of this?
You draft Kieschnick as a pitcher, convert him to a LF (have to go into commissioner mode, so yeah it's kinda cheating) and just observe him through his first 2-3 minor league years. Eventually, he'll be the best hitter in baseball, and in alot of scenarios the best hitter that ever lived.

Yeah, but it's kind of unfortunate that it works in such a gamey manner (and that you have to cheat to do it) because historically there have been a number of guys who started their pro careers as pitchers but converted to position players or vice-versa, even some at the ML level.
Re: The Brooks Kieschnick Trick
Brooks was a failed OF who converted to pitching while still being used as a ph.

I've long been asking for the ability to use any player at any position in BM. Not quite 200 players in ML history have seen significant playing time as both pitchers and position players and I find the inability to replicate this as one of BM's major shortcomings.
