Opportunity to share your baseball collectibles and stories on NMAJH Tumblr Page!
Hey baseball fans!
Was America’s pastime a big part of your childhood? Do you have any old, quirky collectibles from your favorite team or player? If so, the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) wants to see them! In March of 2014, NMAJH will be opening an exhibit called Chasing Dreams: Baseball & Jews in America, and is currently launching a public collecting project on its Tumblr page, http://chasingdreamsbaseball.tumblr.com/, looking for fans all over the country to post photos, stories and/or descriptions of their artifacts.
If you think you have a cool piece of baseball history that’s worth sharing, post it on the Chasing Dreams Tumblr page; the Curatorial staff might even ask you to lend your artifact to the upcoming exhibit! If you have any questions about posting, simply press the “Ask the Curators!” button on the left-hand side of the page, or email chasingdreams@nmajh.org.
