Sad day. After reading about this though, I wonder if there was always something off about him
And 2-1-1 will also work if you need someone to talk to

He should have called the voice God instead, then it would have just been rude to question his sanity
Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
He had close to 10 concussions according to him. I think that had a lot to do with it.
Re: Ryan Freel commits suicide
As someone who has thought about it more frequently than anyone should, I have to say tho... When you are in that state of mind, you don't think those things will help. That is the biggest problem. Often when you want to kill yourself its because you feel like you are broken, or that there is no help, no one to miss you, or care about you. So calling someone often feels like a bad idea because you feel like you have already made the decision and you feel like if you do that, its just a cry for attention.
I am not in any way saying anything bad about the help you can get but the people that deep inside feel like want to kill themselves, feel like there is nothing left to live for, don't want help... they often want to stop being a burden. "If I tell someone then I am going to spend years in therapy and be shamed for it. I will have disappointed people even more."
