Golden State-Denver turning into a good old fashioned NBA playoff series two of the better rising teams in the league

I highly doubt they'll let their three best players walk they'll go after those guys ESPECIALLY if Seattle gets the team

Ellis and Reddick are free agents this season and Jennings is a RFA so none of probably will be back next season. The earliest we could get the Bucks to Seattle if it happened would be for the 2014-15 season. Although their future salary situation is still probably better than the Kings mess.

They're not going to get all but they also won't leave with none. Especially Jennings which they just have to match an offer sheet.
The Bucks roster with Jennings only (which is probably all they're gonna get, maybe JJ) is still miles better than anything the Kings have. Sacramento has a bunch of talented players more suited for street ball than the NBA. Jimmer, Tyreke and Cousins especially.
They traded their best prospect too in T Rob for really nothing in return.
I mean Marcus Thornton owed 8 million in 2014. Jason Thompson 6 million. Chuck Hayes 6 million. 20 million tied in 3 guys who really aren't starting on a playoff squad the Kings have a mess too. Milwaukee has a fresh chance in 2014 to make moves on the market and draft well they have 18 right now with Jennings maybe adding 6-8 more if they pursue past the qualifying offer next year. So same contract situation but with Jennings you have an actual legitimate NBA point

Reddick ain't that good & that trade looks very lopsided with Harris becoming a 20-10 player after the Bucks wouldn't even play him. Ellis has a player option but I think he'll opt out. I could see the Bucks overpaying him to stay though. Brandon Jennings is overrated he has been living off that 55 point game for awhile now. He hasn't improved, can't even shoot 40% and like Ellis is a score first PG and a chucker. Jennings will probably be a sign & trade. So we'll get something but if you follow the Bucks you know the management is so inept that I doubt whoever we get will be useful. Cap money does us no good because no elite FA will ever want to come here so we end up overpaying marginal talent like Bobby Simmons, Jason Caffey, Drew Gooden, etc, etc. It is a sad state. Maybe not as bad as Sacramento but not much better. Anyway like I said as long as "The people's senator" Herb Kohl is still alive the Bucks will stay in Milwaukee. He could of sold the team years ago to MJ, but pulled the team of the market because he was afraid he would move the team. So sorry Seattle, you're not stealing Milwaukee, but you do have soccer!

Reddick is a good bench scorer, there's a place in the league for him. Wait on Tobias Harris it's easy to rack up rebounds and layups when no one else in Orlando is any good at all don't get too down unless he keeps it up Jennings is at the very least starting caliber on a playoff team if the Bucks can get something else.
My salary cap room argument was for Seattle which would be more desirable than Milwaukee.
Ellis will opt out and I feel he's the most likely to not be in a Bucks uniform next year.

Bench player the key word. Yes there is a place for JJ in the league, but he is not one of the Bucks three best payers. He will get overpayed by someone. Hopefully not the Bucks

Re: This is the official nba thread. Bizkit overlord nba champz
Maybe we could do a trade with Seattle: Sounders & Timberwolves for Bucks!

I mean, he kind of is. I think there's an argument. Bench players can be the third or even second best player on a roster. Jason Terry, Manu, JR Smith, etc. not that JJ is in that category but he played some high quality minutes in Orlando and is a premier shooter.

No. Ellis, Jennings, Sanders all clearly better. I would put Ilysavova ahead of him as well. The 5th best player on a below average team. He'll get payed like's he more than that though.

Just like any player in the league I mean look at Al Harringtons contract. He's making more than Lawson and Faried combined.

I always hear alot of Americans say they hate soccer because of all the flopping. I wonder how many of these same people tune in to watch NBA superstars act like they got shot by a sniper anytime someone touches them.

I don't hate soccer b/c of the flopping. I hate soccer because it's boring as a dog's ass.

I don't see how a baseball fan can criticize another sport as boring. I enjoy both sports but baseball is prolly the slowest paced sport there is. In soccer the action never stops. Don't understand how baseball fans can call soccer boring!

As a big fan of soccer I've just accepted that Americans won't like it because they aren't very good at it

Pace of play isn't what makes soccer boring.

Probably because they like baseball and don't like soccer.
Most baseball fans are aware of baseball's history. They know Ruth, Cobb, Aaron, Cy, etc. They know about Stephen Strasburg and Bryce Harper. They about the Yankees. They know about the Yankees and the Red Sox. They know the back story.
They don't know the back story to soccer.
I've lived a few years in Europe. I've watched a few soccer matches, on TV, in person, on TV at parties. I enjoy it. I can see why soccer has such a big following. It can be quite exciting when a team gets close to scoring. You recognize the opportunity and tension builds. Then there's the excitement of a score or the let down of a miss (not knowing any back story, I don't typically care who wins any given match). It is engaging.
But I don't care about soccer. I don't care who wins. I don't care who scores. I don't know anything about the teams or the players that I'm watching.
That's the difference for me between baseball and soccer. I doubt I'm totally unique in this regard.

Re: This is the official nba thread. Bizkit overlord nba champz
I think i would watch soccer over basketball, if that helps. but not big on either - one ends with a score of 101-99, and one ends with a score of 1-0. It seems there should be a middle ground somewhere. I need sports where scoring is infrequent, not once every 30 seconds and not once every 70 minutes.
Baseball, hockey, tennis...these sports i can watch. I guess playing them and knowing them well helps too.

It's fine not to like soccer but what I see from many American is just irrational hatred! I just have never seen another sport with such vile hatred spewed towards it. I mean for a white American male to admit he likes soccer usually opens him up to ridicule and comments like " dude you like soccer, you must be a flaming homo." I just don't understand the American hatred of soccer. I wish the whole country could be like the Pacific Northwest! Those are some soccer loving fools!

this.
anything is "boring" if you're not invested to some extent in it. many in America have no idea how to play soccer, don't understand the rules / positions, and certainly don't understand the history of the game.
To appreciate soccer I think you need the historical context and an understanding of the rules. While it seems boring to watch the ball going back and forth and never near the net at times, an avid soccer fan can see what the offense and defense is doing and the strategy involved. I know it's there, I just can't see it personally. I didn't grow up with it.
When it comes to soccer i can't full one hand up with names I know. Pele (don't know his whole name), David Beckham, and Freddie Abu...or is it Adu? One of the two I believe. That's it for me. Can't name another in all honesty. I know Pele played for Brazil, i think. Don't know about the other two. Think Beckham was England.
Point there is I think i'm like many who doesn't know squat about Soccer. That, for me..makes it boring.

This.
I've grown to love soccer I talk about it a lot and have become a loyal fan.
I can see disinterest that's fine but there's flat out hatred that i don't get and I think that's because we aren't an elite soccer nation like every other major team sport

No, you're not. I don't see much of this "vile hatred" other posters have referred to. Just ... disinterest. It's not that I hate soccer, I just don't care about it. And I would say the vast, vast majority of the non-soccer-liking public is the same way. Sure, every so often you'll see some jackass say the type of things that MW was referring to; however, people like that, I've found, are a tiny exception and not the rule.
EDIT: Yes, I realize I used the word "hate" earlier. That was in reference to the previous post I quoted. I don't hate it; I just don't care about it.

Nuggets finally got rid of who I think is one of the most overrated coaches in the NBA (sorry to divert the NBA thread back to the NBA)
