Make love to me.Quote:
Are you talking ****? I take the job seriously, Kobie very clearly takes the job seriously, but that doesn't mean we have to become inhuman robots that can no longer have rooting interests. A Colorado radio host put it perfectly this week
"I have rooting interests, I cheer for teams, I cheer against teams. But that's my business. I'm not going to bring that on air, because I don't think people should care who I cheer for and who I cheer against."
Who I cheer for only effects me. I don't let it effect the way I work within the media. I don't aim to one day bring down LeBron James. In fact, I love that LBJ is a great player so that I can cheer against him and he still kicks ass. It's no fun cheering against a shitty player.
But it shouldn't matter to you who we root for or root against because those are our opinions. We don't let it effect our work, so therefore why should it matter? Kobie's not banning Tebow related stories from his newspaper so that he doesn't get covered. He's not letting his "childish" opinion get in the way of his work so, to me, it doesn't ****ing matter. He's a human, he's got opinions. Some people got opinions. Some people let it effect their work (those that voted against Alomar in the Hall) some people don't. But if it doesn't effect the work, then it shouldn't matter.
I am an unabashed Bills fan. That does not mean I cannot opine upon the Bills unobjectviely.
