If Chicago had a set of balls and used the defense that ruined Denver all game, then Denver would have lost. Though, Tebow's luck caries over into the opposing coaches head and made him call a soft cover 2 prevent (the win) defense.
As it's stacking up, Tebow's wins have come against teams that are bad or are on the down swing. The one legit playoff team they played. They got smacked around and there was no talk of this "great" Tebow.
It's a great story for an otherwise cellar team of Denver. The talk I hear that he's this amazing greatness that never been seen before. Give it up. Roethlesburger went 14-1 in his rookie year and went to the AFC Championship while completing nearly 67% of his passes (in the regular season).
Tebow. Tebow. Tebow. Tebow. Tebow. Bleeeeech! I'd rather the media go back up Brady's butt or talk 24-7 about GB and 16-0 and Rogers possibly breaking Brady's 50td passes.
I will say this: Chicago did play some shittastic defense in that final 3 minutes. They left every check down route open like Tebow was looking to go deep.
But I will say this also...haters gonna hate.
You guys know why Tim Tebow is still a virgin? Because he never loses anything.

To elaborate on the Bears defense, even though they had held the Broncos scoreless through most of the game, that was because they were playing a run defense to counter the Tebow run offense. The Broncos changed offenses in the 4th so it makes no sense for the Bears to stick with a defense designed to stop a run. Also, there were a couple of instances in the 1st 3 quarters where a receiver had gotten past the defense and open for a TD, and either Tebow missed the read, missed the throw, or it was dropped. So it wasn't perfect by any stretch.
More importantly though, the Bears defense was gassed by then. They did such a poor job executing the cover 2, it wouldn't have mattered what else they tried. The Jets were plenty aggressive against Tebow and they lost in even more spectacular fashion. If the Bears just cover the sidelines, Tebow doesn't get the ball into FG position cause time runs out. Hanging back and watching the sideline throws is the most basic and simple defense you can run, and they didn't have the energy. If they had lined up in a more aggressive defense, someone would have gotten behind the defense.
Can't wait to Tebololololol the Patriots next week and then everyone will say "Yeah but I mean the Pats have shitty pass D so do something spectacular already."
The Pats haven't stopped anyone all year. Didn't think it was possible but it looks worse than last year. So I won't be shocked if Tebow wins. And boy is everyone going to hear that. May as well curb sports radio that week.
Yeh, we're talking about a Pats team that barely beat Grossman & Co
