Chiefs claim Orton
Hey Detroit you can't hang with the big dogs when u pee like a puppy. I watched that game against the Bears a couple weeks ago, and I HATE the Bears, but I remember thinking about the Lions, how they're just a bunch of fake tough guys. Well it was confirmed today & it all starts with the coach. They won't even make the playoffs.
Yeh, Detroit's still a year away. Stafford's not fully developed yet..Suh and Fairley are still young and reckless. They'll be around but I think they are a year away from contending for a division

Part of the problem was that they weren't very good to begin with. Those of us among the reality-based segment of Bills Nation recognized a few problems early on:
1. The offensive wrinkles that were providing points in bunches early in the season were wrinkles that would quickly be ironed out once teams started getting some film on them;
2. The defense was NEVER any good. They were giving up damn near 400 yards a game even when they were winning, and a few of those wins were due to the fact that the defense was swallowing up an abnormal amount of turnovers. When that turnover well inevitably dried up (regression to the mean and all that, no defense is going to force five turnovers a game for an entire season), the defense was going to have to start stopping people. Outside of the Washington game, that never happened;
3. Coming out of training camp, depth was obviously a problem;
4. Especially at receiver. Stevie Johnson had a hell of a year in 2010 when Lee Evans was there to take some pressure off. Evans had a terrible year last year, but he was still drawing attention. Johnson hasn't had that luxury this year, since David Nelson, Donald Jones & Co. scare nobody.
Throw in a big old heap of injuries (the Bills have 14 guys on IR, including starters Fred Jackson, Terrence McGee, Jones, Eric Wood, Kyle Williams and Shawne Merriman), and Buffalo's slide back to the middle of the pack didn't come as a very big surprise.
You can just be a Broncos fan now. It's OK.

Broncos need to go back to their Orange Crush jerseys before I start rooting for them. Look how gay that number 58 looks.
