awesome website. too bad some of the candidates wouldn't answer these simple questions more directly however.

Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
Yep, I'll be voting for her. I don't think I will ever vote Dem or Repub again.

Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
NC is one of those tight states, so if Stein was on the ballot here I would have a real decision on my hands. Since she's not, its a no brainer to vote Obama.
I started engaging the green party here in charlotte anyway to see what we can do about getting them on the ballots. They are working with Libertarians.

Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
Has anyone ever started a campaign to get people like me whose states are decided before the elections to move to different battleground states to shift the vote one way or another? Would be a really interesting tactic (and an easy way to manipulate the system until the archaic electoral college is abolished).

Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
there is an ongoing campaign to get bright, educated new englanders to move south: it's called 'snow'
also, the relative ease of outperforming southerners in the workplace and rising through the ranks
zing!

This stupid turd was in some of the same social circles as me in Raleigh before he moved to NYC (well, until he narked on nearly everyone he knew to get out of a minor offense, at which point he was roundly shunned)

For the first time, the Economist has endorsed an incumbent President
Basically, I'm reading this as "Obama sucks but holy **** is Romney the worst thing ever." Which is kind of my thinking

I'm thinking "Benghazi 9/11" will be Obama's legacy. After Tuesday when Romney wins, he'll begin repeal of Obamacare early next year. Then congress can begin to dig into the Benghazi coverup .. hmmm .. nobody was killed during Watergate as I recall.

Thanks for giving me reason to root for Obama dick.

Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
So yeah I was hanging out with some friends and got to talking politics which is such an absolute joy.
Anywho, they collectively said they aren't voting for Obama because they hate him. I ask why vote for Romney when he is just about the same if not worse and someone said Obama's birth certificate. I immediately called it a nite and left.
I hate Obama and all, but please with the bs like that.

I lol at you. All the latest polls show Obama with the lead in every single state that is considered a "battleground" state. I give Obama a 98% chance of being re-elected.
-
Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
lol ... there are gonna be a lot of broken hearts here at this form Wednesday. You are about to see the Greatest Blowout since Reagan vs Carter. The polling data ALWAYS gives Obama a +7 weight average in order to show him ahead. But the fact is in 2010 the RIGHT showed up and stomped the LEFT.
That is what is going to happen Tuesday again.
Check out what just happened yesterday in my hometown ... 30,000 showed for this ROMNEY RALLY.
http://twitchy.com/2012/11/02/awesom...-chester-ohio/
Start packing you BAGGAGE President Obama ... btw Hillary announced she is already packing it in.
-
Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
BTW ... I wouldn't cross the street to see KID ROCK either. Nor would many others around here ... he just ain't "COUNTRY" enough for us.
-
Re: Official "What are you thinking about right now?" (Political Version)
Nate Silver, of FiveThirtyEight, who correctly predicted 49 of 50 states in 2008 gives Obama a 73% chance right now. Romney has stormed up that, for a while Obama had a 93% chance.
But math and all.
It's prolly hard for Pete and Yomama

I had no idea you liked me enough to want me to stay around. Figured since you always rail on the sane, err, liberal posters on this board, you'd like a chance to get rid of one. But you're just another lunatic fringe righto that likes to pretend romney has any chance at winning, but deep down knows that the election is already over

I hardly ever post on here, nobody does really. So why would I care if anyone got IP banned? To use your words: Thats just ****ing stupid. The whole idea of trying to propose a bet with strangers on an obsolete liberal baseball forum is ****ing stupid as well. I have already acknowledged that Obama is more likely to win, so why would I make any wager on Romney anyway? Once again. ****ing stupid. I just feel it will be alot closer than you and the rest of the liberal sheep think it is. Polls show a tight race.
