I was like dude, it's one playoff game and they had a home game. It's not a major accomplishment to see an upset in the NFL playoffs

Good job by the Seahawks getting a step closer to being back to .500!
Wooo, A win next week and the Seahawks can make it to .500!!!!!
They are 8-9.
Yeah, I fixed it :p I guess the point is even funnier now though.
So who does that set the Seahawks up to play next round?
It's the Bears if Philly wins, Falcons if the Packers win.
Probably the only time I will root for the Colts.
Caldwell is an idiot.
props to the seahawks....displayed the great parity that is the NFL today.
just because they were sub .500%, i don't think they are much worst collectively than many of the nfl playoff teams.
Props to Seattle. And New Orleans, maybe invest in a defense that doesn't make Matt Hasselbeck look like the second coming of Joe Montana. I knew their D was bad, but I had no idea it was THAT bad.
It funny, while I would never had expected a seahawks win there were these two trends I saw
1) Since football outsiders has tracked DVOA in 1994, the only two teams with a lower Ranking both won
2) Since 1980 (I think) the there has been one other homefield underdog in the playoffs on more than 5 points, and they won, 3 other home dogs were 4.5 points two of those won ---
Thats the thing there defense hasn't been bad this year..
They Ranked 4th in Yards against, 7th in pts aginst, 4th in pass yrds, 16th in rush yrds, FO had them 9th in DVOA; by any measure the defense has been pretty good this year
having just watched the Sea/NO game this NYJ/IND game sucks.
I don't think I'll ever be able to like the Jets until they have an offense. I can't take this defensive ****!
I'm falling asleep watching this game.

How can Eli be overrated when no one considers him a top 10 at best QB
In no particular order, QBs that are better than Eli
Schaub, Rivers, Rodgers, P Manning, Brady, Big Ben, Romo, Vick, Brees, Cutler, Cassell(???)
QBs that will be better than Eli if not already
Bradford, healthy Stafford, Flacco, Freeman
Top 10 at best (which is the top 3rd)...but by top ten 9-10
qb rankings...help me if i'm missing anyone
1. Peyton Manning
2. Tom Brady
3. Drew Brees
4. Aaron Rodgers
5. Matt Ryan
6. Ben Rothlesburger
7. Philip Rivers
8. Mike Vick
9. Joe Flacco
10 Eli Manning
11. Matt Cassel
12. Carson Palmer
13. Tony Romo
14. Matt Schaub
15. Jay Cutler
16. Sam Bradford
17. Kyle Orton
18. Donovan McNabb
19. Matt Hasselback
20. Mark Sanchez
21. Josh Freeman
22. David Gerrard
23. Jason Cambpell
24. Matthew Stafford
25. Brett Farve
26. Ryan Fitzpatrick
27. Chad Henne
28. Kerry Collins / Vince Young
29. Colt McCoy
30. Jimmy Claussen
these are highly subjective...i didn't put much time into analyzing it. Eli is easily however around that #10 mark, thus in the top third of the league QB's. He gets knocked too much.
Swap Freeman with Manning, put Hasselbeck lower and swap Garrard with Palmer and that's about right.
There's 32 teams, so obviously you're missing two (49ers, Cardinals), but neither would rank ahead of Eli. And Tim Tebow should clearly be No. 1.
And for the love of g-d, it's FAVRE.
I believe I listed at least ten people who I think are better than Eli (and 4 who will be if not now) so I have no idea where you are going.
Just admitting I can see Eli as top ten by some analysts if he's number 10 out of the top 10, since I'm not sure if Cassell is better right now yet.
Point is you can't be overrated if you're not even top 5.
