i still maintain there's some behind the scenes things going on between mcnabb and shanahan. shanahans showing his power and i do believe mcnabb will be traded or released this offseason.

This is a great draft for QBs. If Washington can tank a couple of games they might be able to draft high enough to get Locker, Mallett, or Luck. If Newton leaves that could be 4 QBs deserving of 1st round picks.
McNabb isn't going to be a Redskin next season, no doubt about that.

we saw the same with gibbs, and old coach who seems lost with the young players. i don't think he's trying to get fired, in fact i think its more that Shanahan realized prior to taking the job that the team is going to take a bit to turn around. its an organizational problem and needs stability and structure. i give shanahan at least two more years before I judge his coaching or GM ability in that mess.Quote:

Hell, I remember being pretty much the only person who thought Tebow would be a better pro than Jimmy Clausen because "Clausen learned from Weis and he's got a great arm and great release and blah blah blah," ignoring the fact that leadership is a huge part of the QB role. And it's not all the o-lines fault. The Broncos ran the ball 80% of the time, it was so predictable that it was impossible to watch.
Let's just say the jury is still out on Tebow. And I'm frustrated that I have to read 80 statuses today saying Orton should never start again. Yes, because watching the Broncos run the ball on every play is sooo exciting.
I would still prefer Orton honestly. It is going to be interesting to see whoever Denver hires as their next coach to see how they will build the offense towards Tebow to utilize his talents, or are we gonna have someone stubborn come in and try to make him a conventional passer.
I don't have a problem suggesting that Kyle Orton is a better NFL QB than Tebow. But with as crappy as the Broncos roster is they should just trade Orton for more picks.
