So, like What are you thinking and MLB Talk, this is just an all-purpose thread to discuss things in your baseball sims, be it Mogul or Ootp or whatever else you may play.
In my OOTP game, a week into the 2010 season, the Dodgers signed Jeff Weaver to a two year, $14.5 mil extension. He's not even rated good or anything. WTH!

One thing that pisses me off about Mogul is that EVERY SINGLE MOTHER ****ING FREE AGENT gets offers from someone else, and not just slight increases either.
I was trying to sign Rafael Soriano 2 months into free agency, and we settled on 2 years and $6.75 MM. Well, the White Sox offer him $9.25 MM and he counters me with $9.75.
**** that mess.
Back when I was testing some, there were few instances of outbids. I was able to sign something like 10 of the top 11 free agents by overall rating without any competition.Quote:

Heilman walked 10 batters in 3 innings. Small sample size or not, ****ing frustrated me and I ate the $1.7 mil left and released his ass.
I have all difficulty set to Mogul, so maybe that has something to do with it.

BTW, Houston, Tyler Stovall is a lefty not a righty. I know this because we are from the same town. The Braves actually have 2 guy from cities I lived in, as Kyle Cofield is from Gadsden.
I hate free agency in OOTP. Seems like I pay too much for free agents. I swear one time Fielder wanted 30 million a year.
