Fantasy Baseball Keeper League Advice Needed
I play in an 11 Team 5x5 Keeper league. We are only allowed to keep up to 4 players each year. You lose a draft pick 2 rounds ahead of the round the player was drafted last year. Example Roy Halladay drafted Round 4 in 09 if kept would lose your 2nd round pick in 2010. I have a lot of potential keepers and recently made a trade. I traded Cano RD 7 Keeper and Wieters RD 10 keeper for Carpenter RD 19 Keeper. I am definitely keeping Tommy Hanson RD 15 Keeper so that gives me 2 great starters without using early picks. Now my dilemma out of this list who do you think should be kept. Also, I won the league last year so I have the 11th pick in the first round and 1st pick of round 2.
Kendry Morales 10th Round
Aaron Hill 12th Round
Ryan Zimmerman 8th Round
Jonathan Broxton 18th Round
Nick Markakis 9th Round
Andrew McCutchen 10th Round if I dont keep Morales.
I am strongly leaning towards Hill and Zimmerman but wanted other peoples thoughts.
So far in the league here are the announced keepers * represent what year keeper a player is as we are only able to keep a player 5 seasons.
Tim Lincecum (6**), Robinson Cano(7), Matt Weiters(10), Adam Jones(16**)
Josh Johnson(12), Kevin Youkilis(14***), Adam Lind (21), Carlos Quentin (22**) Joe Mauer(6), Justin Verlander (9->8), Matt Kemp(9**), Evan Longoria(15**) BJ Upton(11****), Justin Upton(12**), Brian McCann(16***), Hanley Ramirez(17****) Felix Hernandez(2), Troy Tulowitzski(4), Jacoby Ellsbury(7**), Zack Greinke(12**)John Lester(16**), Chone Figgins(8), John Lackey(10-moves to 9th since you are keeping another 10th), Jason Bartlett(FA-10) Ian Kinsler(3**), Adam Wainright(12), Matt Cain(13), Denard Span(18) Dan Uggla(4**), Derek Lee(5), Dustin Pedroia(6***), Ervin Santana(18**) Ryan Braun(6***), Pablo Sandoval(11), Curtis Granderson(16**), Joey Votto(20**)

Zimmerman and Broxton
Zimmerman is a top 5 3B and you won't get a top 5 3B with your 6th pick
Broxton is a top 2 closer and you won't get him with your 16th pick
Re: Fantasy Baseball Keeper League Advice Needed
I should have specified the Rounds next to my possible keepers are the rounds I would lose a pick this year. So Zim would be an 8 and Broxton an 18th. I just feel Hill at 12 is a good deal since he is a top 4 or 5 2b and that is a thin position.

I doubt Hill comes close to the HR total he had in 2009. I don't think he's a top 5 second basemen at all. I'd put him more in the 9 to 11 area.
