Keep it as is. Many people have shown that winning the coin flip is not a huge advantage. Essentially, once you are in overtime, the result is basically a coin flip anyway because winning in any overtime format indicates luck, not the quality of the teams. The current format highlights the importance of luck, but it doesn't really matter.

I like the first team to 6 option. If you only get a field goal your 1/2 way there and the other team get the ball. Score a touchdown after the flip and you deserve to win.

that does make sense, although it is essence "no change", as the whole "first team get the ball always wins and it not fair" crowd will still have the same.
But something like that seems the most reasonable type of change that the NFL would make, despite the fact it is more fair it keeps the same basic issue.
