Although, that was more of a cup of coffee.
Ah, bLanks
Jeffy, are you drunk? You're butchering these names.
"Beckman"= Gordon Beckham?
If so, improve.
Porcello- decline
Hanson- no change
Ricky Romero- no change
Blanks- improve
Although Daniel Murphy wasn't quite a rookie last year, I think we should still consider him.
I say he'll improve.
Why do you think Porcello will decline?
Oh...like that gut feeling that Daniel Murphy was gonna hit 30 home runs last year? :3
I think he'll hit 25 this year.
Let's put big money on it.
I called this last year and got the crap made fun of me but 2 guys who are going to improve and impress are Porcello and Hughes.
bc big brother HGM is gonna beat em up!
Once again my boy Casey McGhee gets no respect. And no he won't have a sophmore slump either.
Because those 116 games were very likely a fluke. He was never a top prospect and his career high minor league OPS is .774. Chances are, he didn't suddenly sprout into a .859 OPS hitter in the bigs.
I don't know why he would "save his best for the big stage of MLB." If this is truly his actual talent level, why hasn't he shown it before in order to get to the big leagues quicker? Why did he wait until he was 26?
Are you just trolling or what?
No. "Because he's clutch" has absolutely nothing to do with what I said, unless "clutch" means "would rather wallow in the minors until he's 26 than make it to the majors." It seems like you have nothing to fall back on to support your opinion (which is fine) so instead bring up silly buzzwords.
Why is everything a big argument with you? I always laugh at how MG baits you in silly arguments. Even though you know he's just messing with you, you just can't walk away. It's like an addiction you have or something. You can't predict the future anymore than me. Minor leagues stats mean nothing to me. McGhee is a beast. One of the most underrated players in MLB. I think it's funny how everyone writes him off because he was never a big prospect.
I enjoy discussing baseball. I'm not trying to have a big argument here, just a baseball discussion. Everyone "writes him off" because minor league stats, while they may mean nothing you, absolutely do mean something when it comes to proper player evaluation. I will, on average, wind up predicting the future better than you if you ignore huge amounts of data while I take all the data into account.
