I'm going to make a very wild guess that most of the people who disagreed with my comments do not have kids. because you guys are looking at it from a child's perspective and not the parents perspective. Yeah it's great that you guys don't want your parents supporting you but that has nothing to do with what I posted. To me my comments are basically common sense that has nothing to do with trust funds or anything like that.
Kinda. I just think that every parent wants their kids to be better off than they were. I want to make sure my family is protected in case something should happen to me. The older you get the less, I'm sure you worry about it. If I die when I'm ninety it's basically a mute point. But if I die when i'm 35 it's different. Once your kids get to a certain age you don't worry as much about it because hopefully they are making a good living on their own.
