No, it's because he sucks and you're overrating him because he was decent with the Mets. You hated the trade when it happened and called it the low-point of the season or something similar, but since Francoeur was alright in 75 games with New York, you've completely reversed your opinion and let yourself be blind to any logic.

Well, I do wish I were Francoeur. It'd be pretty awesome to be a big league player, he makes millions, I'm sure he pulls far more tail than I ever will, so, yeah, I would love to be him. But that goes for pretty much any big leaguer regardless of their skill, so that has no bearing on whether or not he sucks.

I sure as **** don't want him on my ballclub.

I value him higher than any other player on the Mets now

What do the Tigers have to do with anything? Francouer sucks. Sure he has great defense, but he'll only hit 15-20 homers with a ~.310 OBP. Overall he's a below average ball player.

Id take him in Triple A as a possible reserve in case of injuries :D

Or as a 4th/5th outfielder, def not as a starter.
