Better then Lackey, Beckett Lester???
I'm going to go with Daniel Bard

Those three are pretty close.

YES!! The Giants wouldn't trade Lincecum or Cain for any of those 3 and if Sanchez does have a breakout year no question! If the Giants had the Sox lineup Lincecum and Cain would both win 20+. The Sox are my fav AL team too, just callin it how I see it.
If you are looking for a breakout player rather than an established player like most mentioned I would go with Ian Stewart. Being a Giants fan I see a lot of the Rockies and this guy is a stud. I believe he had the highest pinch hitting average in the NL. Not many holes in his swing......if he starts he will breakout in 2010.
McCutchen was a good call too. If he can stay consitent at the plate and get more time in RF look for Nate Schierholtz from SF. I'm a homer for sure!!

^Congratulations dude on being the first person (I think) to join this decade

YES!! If Sanchez has a breakout year there's no question. The Giants 1-2-3 is equal if not better now w/ much more upside.
I agree w/ McCutchen and Ian Stewart. I didn't see much of McCutchen (when I did I was impressed), but Stewart is a stud at the plate. I believe he had the highest pinch hitting average in the NL and he doesn't seem to have any holes in his swing that would make me think 09 was a fluke. My homer pick is Nate Schierholtz from the Giants. CANNON in RF and was in comp w/ Stewart for highest PH avearge all season. Like Stewart he could breakout w/ consitent time in the lineup and if he improves on hitting sliders from righties.

Thanks! I meant to delete the first post to add the quote but oh well. Congrats on Bay. As long as Molina doesn't tie up the base paths like he did in SF the Mets should have a strong lineup, considering they sign him.

I am going with ricky nolasco, i think he will finally get it all together and will put up cy young like numbers in florida.
I'm talking like a sub 3.50 era, with a solid 16-18 wins and over 200 k's.
Any guesses?

that would be a nice season for a guy that we just let go
and that you paid under for.
But I hope the best for him of course...that would be nice for him to be able to revitalize his career.

Ian Stewart had been touted for 3 years now. Pinch hitter does not make a great player. I think he will be good though.
As for San Fran, any pitcher in their system is a superstar. The most overweight young pitching system in a long time. Too bad they dont have 1 guy who can bat in over 90 rbis. Bats do matter.
