I'd take Rickey! still.
Only 4 AS games? Ewww.
102-for-107 in SB in his last AA season
I wouldn't. He may have more stolen bases than Rickey, but his OBP is .24 points lower. I'd rather have someone who gets on base more than someone who steals more bases.
higher slugging :D
Rickey however had a MUCH better SB%
That is way too many CS for me... no thanks
I feel sorry for the Twins GM that traded him.
The Atlanta Thieves offer
Erik Forster SS-24 (90+) (dissapeared so never made HOF and is gone from the league)
Yoshi Murakami 1B-23 (63++++) .275/364/513 212 HR... now a bench player
to the Minnesota Twins for
Baron Gaspar SS-21 (52+++++) well we all know him
Tavo Rojas 1B-19 (67++++) .245/.387/.475 251 HR (flipped him to another guy whi immediatly flipped him)
5%? really. I didnt realize I figured if u were talkin about THAT many SB it was not as big a deal
I saw the title and thought this was about santa
thank you... as always :D
A season with a .950 ops and 209 steals. Its a case study in unrealistic baseball bliss. I love it. Give him 70 HRs and I would be in heaven.
Yeah I don't know. I mean obviously the player is a hall of famer, but he just looks like a SS version of Rickey. So to say "if he was real" is kinda silly.
"If this guy was real, he'd be just like this other guy that is real!"
Its hard to take it seriously with that buggy BMO version. Now if it was Clays version of BMO, I would really be impressed.
nothing has changed with it... except a few bugged players... which I am SURE this guy is
I have another one like Him I traded for who is not quite as good defensivly who is going to be put at 2B... along with a LF who could put up close #'s but his eye isnt quite as good.
in about 5-6 years if they both pan out... I will have 2 100+ steal guys at teh top with hopefully .360+ obp.
I totaly tore the team down and after 5 years in teh basement and trading the way Pitt should have done years ago... I have built a juggernaut winning 110 games 5 years in a row... 4 straight trips to the WS with wins sandwiching them both... and the best record in baseball so far this year at 48 games over .500 with about 40 or so left to play
I'm surprised that he didn't miss more playing time, given that health rating.
Injuries are not as big a factor... the league voted to lower the amount... which is funny because it seams like only guys with good health ratings get hurt now lol. If they are hurt less than 10 days it wont show unless you put him in the minors also (I think) and it was not that low... it is starting to drop now that he is getting older... most of his career I think he was at about 85 or so... I generaly dont keep guys with crappy health. for me its generaly 80 or above and nearly ALWAYS with pitchers 85+ unless I have a STACKED farm and can take a chance
Some Guys just Don't Quit lol
how can I cut a guy with a 20/4 SB record and on OPS of .968 off the bench!!!
61 AB is decent to keep a guy at the back of the bench, and for a Pinch Hitter right?
It doesn't look like he'll get 3,000 hits. Therefore, he sucks. Also, why does he have so damn many sacrifices?
I hit and run a LOT.
The team is built on speed and contact not power
