Zomg!!! Halladay is gone and so is cliff lee

This would have to go down as one of the biggest blockbusters in history. Two of the best pitchers in the game moving in one deal.

This is totally preventing me from studying right now.

I wonder if this limits Seattle's ability to sign Bay or Holliday?

I agree with gosens. I think this probably is the single biggest blockbuster trade in baseball history.

This on the surface looks insanely good for the Mariners.

I wouldn't be surprised if Michael Saunders and/or Phillipe Aumont were included. I think it would be very safe to say that we'll get a top flight infield prospect. I'd need to see a prospect list to make more educated predictions though.

There's no way to really evaluate that at this point since we don't know who Seattle gave up.

Do you guys think they would've had to give up a little extra on top of Halladay?

I heard somewhere that its not confirmed that Lee would be going to Seattle. I don't really see how that would make sense for the Jays though.
